CINQ FEMMES (pronounced “sank fem”) was born out of a deep appreciation for American Southern hospitality and grace, and an enduring influence from French culture and style. We aspire to illuminate and encourage you, our clients and followers, to explore your own passions, re-energize your living spaces, create unforgettable events, and enrich your everyday experiences.
The “V” represents the Roman numeral five and the “F” is for the French word for women, “femmes.” We love the look of the “VF” symbol with its elegance and simplicity, and we hope you do, too!

WRITING
Having read Margaret’s essays for the past several years, I’m most impressed with her ability to transport you with words. I love her descriptions of locations in France and of individuals who have impacted her life. She takes me right there, I feel like I know the characters she describes, and am experiencing everything with her!

INTERIORS
We asked Margaret and her team to loan a pair of French antique period chairs to our recent Impressionist Exhibit at the LSU Museum of Art. Her pieces meshed perfectly with the overarching theme and ambiance, and helped transport visitors to that significant era in French art history.

INTERIORS
Margaret and her creative partners have introduced me to new ways of incorporating French antique light fixtures, paintings and art installations into my clients’ spaces. They’re not afraid to add an unexpected vintage item to a living area, whether indoors or outdoors. The impact can be tremendous and immediate. Voila—a fresh look!

Whether speaking on-camera, in personal conversations, or in her blogs, Margaret’s easy command of language engages you immediately.
